Lumin symbolizes the spark of light that can break through the shadows of trauma and emotional challenges. In moments where the path feels dark and uncertain, there is an opportunity for growth and transformation. Catherine grew up near the Rocky Mountains in Colorado. After her bachelorβs in Utah, she moved to Chicago where she earned her Masterβs degree in Social Work at the University of Chicago.
Catherine approaches each client with curiosity and compassion and strives to used evidence based interventions while meeting her clients where theyβre at. She believes that therapy should be client directed as much as possible. She cares deeply about helping to heal wounds that keep us trapped and then fighting to reach our full potential.
Catherine is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with advanced training in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), CBT, DBT, ACT, Internal Family Systems, ERP, PHRI and mindfulness.
Catherine loves spending time with her three children. She also enjoys hikes in the mountains, biking and curling up with a good book and some hot tea.
